Botanical name: Callitris intratropica

A unique species found in northern Australia, wildly grown in the tropical rainforests and is the only woody essential oil that presents a beautiful azure blue color. The Blue Cypress, which can live for over 200 years, owes its remarkable antibacterial, antiviral, and insect-repelling properties to its essential oil. In 2000, it was selected as the designated essential oil for the Olympic Games.
